An AI-native learning platform that generates personalized courses on any topic. Built on the principles of cognitive science and optimized for long-term knowledge retention.
The premise
It's no profound statement to say AI is (at least) an order of magnitude improvement for the rate at which new concepts can be understood deeply and retained for the long-term.
Historical learning tools are too static, too rigid.
Pure LLMs are optimized for quick queries, giving you an immediate answer and not long-term understanding.
Glass Mind starts with the core questions:
- Where do bare LLMs and historical educational tools break?
- What do these failures tell us about the optimal UX / UI for an AI-native learning platform?
- How can we embed cutting-edge cognitive science principles into the platform?
Status
I've picked this up and forgotten about it several times over the last year. The core loop works: course generation (text only for now), step through modules, continuously quizzed on understanding, etc.
Currently building out multi-media functionality, features to help offset forgetting curves, adaptive learning styles, and knowledge base representations which bring hidden connections from disparate concepts to the surface.
